My name is Paul Hunt, an Assistive Technology Trainer from Austin Texas. I train people who are blind or visually impaired to use assistive technology. I also train them to set up their workstations, work with the Windows operating system and use Microsoft Office applications.
In my experience, I have found that training resources are finite. For this reason, I train customers to train themselves.

People who are blind or visually impaired may use one or more pieces of hardware and software to make their workstations accessible.
I am a subcontractor for Integrated Technology Group (ITG). ITG provides Assistive Technology support for federal agencies.
I also have a contract with the Texas Workforce Solutions Vocational Rehabilitation division (TWSVR) to provide Assistive Technology training.
The ITG portal contains information and updated course outlines for the students I have trained for ITG. As technology changes, I have to update the training outlines.
